1 Skirt, 3 Ways

If you’ve read our blog a time or two, you’ll know by now that we put a lot of value on versatility, both in the home and in our closets. Today we are zeroing in on a wardrobe staple that you likely have in your closet already, the denim skirt! Whether you’re off to work, enjoying brunch with friends or running errands around the city, this skirt goes the distance! I fell in love with this skirt at a recent thrifting outing with Nicole and I immediately had to scoop it up, so today I’ll be sharing three different ways you can wear this timeless classic, no matter what’s on your schedule!

Running Errands

When I’m bopping around the city, running into different shops, and picking up groceries, the last thing I want is to be hot and sweaty in the August heat, while getting to all of the places I need to go. In this case, I opted for a light cotton eyelet tie blouse to ensure the cotton will keep me cool while walking. I finished the look with comfortable walking sandals and a cognac crossbody bag.

Work From Office

Half the fun of going to the office is deciding what outfit you’re going to put together for your office day. That’s right, my denim skirt even goes the distance to work! By pairing it with a faux sweater vest top, featuring a white and navy stripe and voluminous sleeves for a touch of statement, this look is confident and ensures the office knows you’ve arrived. I’ve finished the look with silver Mary Jane ballet flats and a pop of colour with a red bag.

Brunch with Friends

Brunch always feels like a free space to test out outfits with some of your closest friends and I hope it forever stays that way. I always feel most comfortable being a little eccentric with my gals, so today I thought I’d pair my colourful patchwork jacket with a pop of pink underneath using a simple tank top making it feel bright and fun! I love it! I finished the look off with white platform sneakers to keep the overall look casual and clean.
